JD Edwards Functional Apps Consultant

The following permanent positions are with one of our clients within their JD Edwards Solutions Practice. Candidates can live anywhere on the East Coast and parts of the Mid West.

Our client is in need of several JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Application consultants to join their growing team of professionals. Due to the amount of implementations currently taking place, and the backlog of work in the North East and parts of the Mid West we are looking for individuals who can immediately contribute. You would be based out of your home and be provided with all the tools you need to succeed. Expect travel in the states mentioned above with engagements of varying length. The company has been in business since 1980 and is very well established. They are a 'Pay for Performance' company with great benefits, competitive base salary and a lucrative incentive system satisfying the entrepreneurial services professional.

Previous Consulting experience is not mandatory, however it is preferred.

Skill Sets Required:

• Minimum of 3 years of J.D. Edwards EnterpriseOne or OneWorld Experience.

• Distribution Consultants (Sales Order, Purchasing, Inventory)

• Manufacturing Consultants (PDM, Shop Floor, MRP)

•  Financial Consultants must also have experience with HR and Payroll as well.

JDE Manager of Application Development

Our client is in need of a JDE Application Manager to join their growing team of professionals. Due to the amount of implementations currently taking place, and the backlog of work in the North East and parts of the Mid West we are looking for individuals who can immediately contribute. You would be based out of your home and be provided with all the tools you need to succeed. Expect travel of 30% - 50% in the states mentioned above with engagements of varying length. The company has been in business since 1980 and is very well established. They are 'Pay for Performance' company with great benefits, competitive base salary and a lucrative incentive system satisfying the entrepreneurial services professional.

Previous Consulting experience is not mandatory, however it is preferred.

Management (50%)

• Lead 10 to 12 senior programs as they perform application development and maintenance activities for customer base

• Define, construct, and implement best practice methodology and consulting processes

• Manage and support relationships with business alliance partnerships and service providers

• Develop resource plans, department budgets, and strategic implementation policies

• Advise and interface with Senior Management

• Analyze business opportunities, industry trends, and new potential revenue streams

• Control and manage service goals and project cost overages

• Design and implement tool sets to improve productivity and efficiency

• Collaborate with sales and service management to garner new business

• Conduct performance and hiring evaluation

Consulting (50%)

• Advise and recommend cost effective implementations satisfying customer requirements

• Serve as business advisor by recommending strategies and processes to client base

• In depth knowledge of JD Edwards Toolset including integration strategies

• Serve as Solution Architect to customer base (Requirements, Design, and Implementation activities)

• Design, develop, and support custom applications to specification

• Willingness to travel 30 to 50%

Job Description:

Senior technical (CNC) specialist needed for Oracle JDEdwards EnterpriseOne. Will be responsible for installing, patching and upgrading new and existing installs of Oracle JDEdwards EnterpriseOne software.  Also will provide training for clients in all technical aspects of EnterpriseOne.  Must have strong knowledge of the various databases that E1 runs on including Oracle, MS SQL Server and DB2/400.  Must have experience with multiple versions of the E1 software and at least 5 years experience with E1.

Successful candidate should have:

• Strong database skills in Oracle, MS SQL. DBA Certifications are a plus.

• Experience with the AS/400 and DB2/400 is a plus

• Experience with multiple installs of E1 at various releases

• Experience with at least one upgrade of E1. Multiple upgrade experience preferred.

• Strong troubleshooting skills a must.

• Experience with patching E1 (Tools Releases, ESUs, etc)

• Good customer relationship and communication skills

• Ability to perform client training (one-to-one and classroom)

• Ability to work effectively with minimal day-to-day guidance

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities include involvement in pre-sales efforts and all aspects of an implementation of the IFS Applications product.
